Colin Tizzard’s good run of form continued at Exeter yesterday where he added another three winners to his tally to further enhance his Cheltenham claims.

He’s still very green so he’s a work in progress. He’s schooling over fences at home, because he isn’t respecting the hurdles, so he may go chasing in the autumn, but we’ll keep running him so he can learn his trade,” said owner Garth Broom, whose Brocade Racing partnership also owns Native River, winner of Saturday’s Betfair Denman Chase at Newbury.”He’s come out of the race well and he seems back to his best. If anything he was more impressive than last year,” he said.

Vision Des Los landed the two mile one furlong listed hurdle in impressive style, a race won by Native River in 2015 and stable mate Finian’s Oscar last year. ”We like to support it and we’ve won three of the last five runnings,” said Joe, adding, “Vision Des Los will go to Cheltenham, but we’re not sure whether he’ll go in the two mile (Sky Bet Supreme Novices’) or the two mile five furlong race (Ballymore Novices’s hurdle).”
Elegant Escape concluded the treble with a win in the Six Nations Rugby At 188Bet Graduation Chase. Tom O'Brien led for much of the race aboard the six-year-old who jumped well on his way to a 13-length victory over Ramses De Teillee.”He’ll probably go in the RSA at the Festival.We were ken to get another run in him and he hasn’t had a particularly hard race today but he jumped for fun and we know he likes it here.” 

Sky Bet cut him to 7/1 from 9/1 for the four-miler and to 14/1 from 16s for the RSA Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.

Richard Johnson was seen to good effect when driving Lovenormoney home to glory in the Pertemps Network Handicap Hurdle. The Warren Greatrex-trained seven-year-old stuck to his task well after the final flight to claim a six lengths victory from Solomn Grundy.

Band Of Blood made his first start in 661 days a winning one when recording a facile success in the Champions League Betting At 188Bet Veterans' Handicap Chase.

The Dr Richard Newland-trained 11-year-old defied a lengthy absence when taking the three-mile contest by 15 lengths from former Charlie Hall Chase winner Harry Topper who was the only other finisher, to register his first victory since October 2014.

Sam Twiston-Davies, rider of the 11-2 winner, said: "Luckily he is a fantastic jumper. He has done plenty of work and he hasn't been away anywhere but as you know with Dr Newland he is able to get one fit.

"His attitude today was fantastic. He has come right down the handicap from where he was and if he was to find some of that form again it was going to be in a race like today where they were going to go a nice honest gallop.”

Richard Hobson saddled the winner of the three mile novices’ chase with 3-1joint favourite Allysson Monterg staying on well to win by two and a half lengths. Joint favourite Le Rocher blunder two out stopped his chances and did well to finish as close as he did in third.

The Fergal O’Brien-trained Time To Move On started the long odds on favourite in the concluding bumper on the back of a hugely impressively win at the course in December and he could next be seen in the Wetherby’s Champion bumper at the Festival.
